Finance Administrator - Leeds

Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Finance Administrator to be based in Leeds. This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary.

Working as an Administrator within the Finance Department to support the management reporting processes in a variety of monthly and ad hoc tasks including timesheet management, invoice creation, WIP reporting and project support, managing cost centres.

Key Accountabilities: 

·  Accurate processing of timesheet information
·  Liaising with the Finance Business Partner to ensure timesheets information used in the management accounts can be relied upon and is understood
·  Requesting and chasing the business to provide regular accurate timesheets
·  Creation of accurate and timely WIP reports, ensuring these are understood by the business user 
·  Creation of accurate invoices per agreed deadlines and ensure these are issued and accounted for correctly
·  Set up jobs and projects in SAP according to specified templates
·  Supporting the working capital management cycle (eg billing, cash etc)
·  Resolve queries with business stakeholders in a timely manner
·  Accurate and timely processing of timesheets to achieve month end deadlines
·  Minimal outstanding timesheets from the business 
·  Accurate and timely creation of invoices
·  Accurate and timely WIP reports issued to the business 
·  Availability of new job/project information in SAP in time for use 
·  Minimal queries outstanding on any information provided

·  GCSE Maths Grade C (or equivalent), or above
·  GCSE English Grade C (or equivalent), or above 
·  Degree level (or equivalent)
·  Ideally, keen to grow Finance career via study (e.g AAT, CIMA etc.)
Experience: 

·  Previous experience in a Finance department or other similar busy, professional office environment For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
