ENGIE are recruiting for an Energy Operations Administrator to be based in Leeds (LS12 1BE). This is a 12 month fixed-term contract which involves working full-time. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
To support the work of the Market Interaction and Metering Team in processing customer gains and losses and in maintaining and upgrading ENGIE’s metering estate.
Registration (and management of losses) of customers in a timely and accurate manner, assisting with the maintenance and development of all registration systems and processes
Responding to gas emergencies in line with industry requirements
Supporting the roll-out of Smart and Advanced meters to comply with Supply Licence Conditions and the commercial needs of the business
Responding effectively to and helping resolve queries in relation to Change of Supply, Smart and Advanced meters and associated activities
Assisting to ensure that all smart meter installations are compliant with the Smart Metering Installation Code of Practice.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
GCSE Maths Grade C and above or equivalent
GCSE English Grade C and above or equivalent
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Effective problem-solving skills
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Ability to produce accurate work within tight deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office
General understanding of the Smart metering programme and the functionality of Smart and AMR meters
Understanding of the registration processes and interdependencies between customer setup and interfacing departments
Proven experience as an administrator or relevant role
Experience of setting up new customers in databases
