ENGIE are recruiting for an Electrician to be based in Normanton Depot S Block, Normanton, West Yorkshire, WF6 2AY.
This is a permanent full time role (working 40 hours per week) and on offer will be a salary of up to £28,000 per annum, plus business use vehicle. This role will report into the Electrical Supervisor.
To be successful in this role you must provide the following:
· Minimum of 3 year history of employment (including information which can be verified for any gaps)
· If you do not have 3 years previous employment, a professional reference must be provided (obtained from a Medical Practitioner, Officer of the Armed Forces, Teacher, Lecturer, Lawyer, Bank Manager, Civil Servant etc)
· Proof of identity & eligibility to work in the UK which must include :
· Photographic I.D Passport or Driving Licence.
· Passport and all relevant work permits
· or NI Number information / proof and full Birth certificate
· If no legal photographic documentation is owned then a passport photo which has been signed and verified by any of the above professionals will be required. This needs to show their title, signature and contact details.
· 2 proofs of address from within the last 3 months (i.e. council tax bill, bank statement, utilities bills).
· Any required qualifications or driving licence if required for the role.
The main duties and responsibilities are:
· To carry out efficient and cost effective installation/repair and maintenance of domestic, commercial electrical installations, annual servicing, minor works schemes, in the ENGIE’s Building Portfolio.
· Ability to interpret design drawings, electrical circuit diagrams, manufacturers specifications and instructions.
· Fault diagnosis and rectification of sub-standard installations in accordance with current regulations i.e. IEE 17th Edition regulations.
· Ensure all works conform to the requirements of ENGIE’s Safe Systems of Work for Low Voltage work, and BS 7671 and complete all appropriate documentation and test certificates.
· Carry out repair/modification/replacement work within contract scope, as instructed by Supervisors/Management.
· Completion and timely submission of appropriate documentation.
· Ensure that standards and quality of work produced is in accordance with best practice and fit for purpose.
· Be actively involved in the development of apprentice training.
· Participation in the Call Out Rota

For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
