Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for an Electrician to be based in Leeds, LS11 9SP. This is a permanent full time role working Monday to Friday 8:00 - 17:00 and inculde participation in an on call rota. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

The purpose of the role is to assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures to the current BS7671 using hand tools and power tools. To Understand, implement and adhere to ENGIE SHEQ requirements.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  To carry out project defined electrical work to a high standard as directed by the Site Manager
·  Carry out electrical installation tasks 
·  This role does involve lifting, bending, kneeling and use of tools and machinery
·  Material co-ordination
·  Ensure accurate / timely completion of any relevant site based documentation
·  Adhere to Company quality standards to include: 
·  Compliance with specification / Compliance with materials and workmanship
·  To attend all relevant training courses including all SHEQ courses arranged by the employer including Tool Box Talks
·  Making repairs and restoring damaged parts
·  Maintain and care for all company tools
·  Wear appropriate clothing and PPE specific to tasks

Qualifications required:

·  In date ECS Card
·  Inspection and testing qualification 2391 or equivalent 
·  17th edition BS7671 qualification
