Job description



ENGIE are recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer to be based at Bombardier, Litchurch Lane, Derby , DE24 8AD. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a leading industry salary and excellent benefits package.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 07:30 – 16:00

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  Repair systems, plant or equipment to the required standards.
·  Install, commission & service of plant equipment and industrial furniture.
·  Diagnose fault-find, debug and commission systems, utilising appropriate technical skills and system knowledge.
·  Ability to measure, work to plans ( method statements), read technical diagrams and communicate, present and report technical information as appropriate to trade/ skill
·  Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H & S & environmental regulations.
·  Monitor and assess ongoing machine/ facility performance, through PPM programme as appropriate, identifying any additional works required to meet fit for purpose standards.
·  Provide out of hours cover in accordance with roster.
·  Administer and complete relevant paperwork for all assignments and forward to the office for filing.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  City & Guilds qualifications and any relevant qualification in all aspects of Building Service’s and Electrical engineering.
·  Commercial Gas Qualitions - CPA1. BMP1. TPCP1. TPCP1A. CCN1. CPA1. CENWAT. CKR1. HTR1. DAH1.CODNCO1. ICPN1. CDGA1. CORT1. CIGA1
·  Gas Safe
·  Possess a high degree of attention to detail
·  Proactive and enthusiastic Team Player
·  Awareness of Health and Safety
·  Highly customer focused
·  ‘Can do’ attitude
·  Experience of working within a mobile workforce
·  Experience dealing with customers and suppliers
