ENGIE are recruiting for a Catering Assistant to be based in Bury Greater Manchester. This is a permanent part-time role working 20 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £8.72 per hour and benefits package.

4 hours per day x 5 days per week - Monday to Friday.

General Overview:
To serve as a coordination point between the internal client GEM remembering the importance of customer service.

Follow reasonable instructions by their Manager / be diligent, polite and honest in all aspects of the contract. Working well as a team and own initiative depending on schedule and tasks accordingly.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

· 
Work as part of a team to provide a safe, hygienic, nutritious, and timely food service for staff and visitors

· 
Make and serve coffee and hot beverages to the training and standards required of a Barista

· 
Provide general cleaning duties

· 
Serve and present food and beverages as quickly and efficiently as possible

· 
Maintain high standards food hygiene

· 
Minimise food waste wherever possible and record and wastage

· 
Record keeping including HACCP records

· 
Operations of cash register including float and change control.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Catering experience is essential
·  Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate
·  Health & Safety Knowledge
·  HACCP Knowledge desirable
·  Quality System Knowledge desirable
·  Lifting & handling / manual handling desirable
