ENGIE are recruiting for Carpenter/Fabric Engineer to be based at RAF Lakenheath, Brandon, IP27 9PS.

This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm and on offer will be a salary of £24,000 to £27,000 dependant on skills and experience.  This role will report into the Account Manager.

The main duties and responsibilities are:

·  Responding to reactive break downs for most fabric repairs such as Carpentry work, minor roof repairs, minor decoration and making good
·  Working with our projects team on larger works to carry out Carpentry and general building works.
·  Expected to join the out of hours call out team for Norfolk and Suffolk callouts, currently 1 in 8 weeks although under review.
·  General maintenance works such as fan coil cleaning when required as back up to the maintenance engineers

Qualifications and experience required:

·  NVQ or City and Guilds in Carpentry  
·  Health and Safety training (Not essential as can be provided)
·  Ability to work as a team
·  Good communication skills, both verbal and written
·  Excellent organisational skills are essential 
·  Good back ground experience in Carpentry and general building works
