EQUANS are recruiting for a Carpenter to be based in Birmingham. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
General Overview:
The main purpose of the role is to provide a carpentry trade service, working on designated projects.
· To carry out project defined carpentry work to a high standard as directed by the Site Manager.
· Adhere to Company quality standards to include:
· Compliance with specification / Compliance with materials and workmanship
· Maintain and care for all company tools
· Wear appropriate clothing and PPE specific to tasks
· Ensure all areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the working day
· Joining prefabricated materials in accordance with design plans using appropriate fixings
· Making repairs and restoring damaged parts

Who are we looking for?
· Previous site based work experience
· Knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation
· Knowledge of working within the Public Sector
· Experience with machine shop tooling
· Valid clean driving licence
· Ability to read and comprehend architectural plans
· Ability to work alone or as part of a team
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Reliable
· Good communicator
· Flexible and adaptable
· Enthusiastic and self motivated
