Responsibilities:

·  Utilizing various data points from the capital projects executed by ENGIE North America, establish a “cost and schedule estimation” program.
·  Work with engineers and the program managers during development of capital projects, providing them with cost and schedule input.
·  Work with the program managers during execution of capital projects to capture new data for the continuous development and improvement of the “cost and schedule estimation” program.
·  Working closely with the technical services, contracts management, and procurement teams in Houston, Capital Projects Planner administers the ever-evolving cost and schedule estimation program.
·  Develops a relationship with qualified equipment suppliers, construction contractors, and design/engineering firms.
·  Assist program managers during development and execution of the capital projects in scheduling and coordinating resources, outages, laydown areas, etc, to ensure there are no conflicts.
·  Develop and maintain good relationships with ENGIE subsidiaries and our partners.
·  Promote ENGIE’s services to develop new business opportunities.

 

Requirements:

·  Must be a champion of the six guiding principles of the ENGIE team @Ohio State.
·  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienced required in a related discipline.
·  3+ years of capital project cost development and/or execution experience.
·  Experience in industrial businesses is preferred
·  Strong team player
·  Must be able to multi-task; utilize problem solving and interpersonal skills
·  Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
·  Knowledge of modern management tools in continuous improvement
