Job description

EQUANS are recruiting for a Building Maintenance Technician to be based in Manchester. This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £21,000, dependent upon skills and experience, use of company vehicle or allowance and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

·  ​​​​​​​To carry out scheduled maintenance tasks, repairs and operation of equipment and services in accordance with best practice.
·  To be familiar with and understand their own role in the business contingency plans for dealing with emergency situations
·  To ensure that the Service Manager is kept informed of all aspects of safety performance, plant performance and customers circumstances that may impact upon the safe, efficient, reliable and cost effective operation of the plant and smooth operation of the plant.

Who are we looking for?

·  Competent at basic DIY repairs and maintenance
·  Knowledge of cleaning materials and their use, including cleaning chemicals and their safe use and storage as per their Safety Data Sheets
·  Basic IT skills
·  Knowledge H&S procedures and precautions, including COSHH
·  Relevant experience including fire alarm and intruder alarm testing
·  Ability to pass CRB check
