Building Fabric Operative
Internship Wakefield (West Yorkshire)
Job description
ENGIE are recruiting for a Building Fabric Operative to be based at Pinderfields and Pontefract Hospital, Wakefield, WF1 4DG. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
Working within the fabric team you will be responsible for carrying out repairs, planned installations and maintenance work on the building fabric, fixtures and fittings.
Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

Effect repairs to building fabric as required.
·
Undertake essential repair works and general maintenance activities at the request of the Technical Supervisor.
·
Complete all report sheets and test certificates as necessary and mark up any drawing alterations.
·
Carry out planned preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with published procedures.
·
Complete all Task/Risk Assessment sheets relating to work.
·
Emergency repairs may need to continue beyond a standard working day (for which overtime will be paid)
Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:
· Recognised C&G or equivalent in joinery.
· Previous experience in a similar healthcare role desirable, although not essential as full training will be provided.
· Decorating/Painting experience
· Fire door maintenance scheme qualification
· Full UK Driving licence
