Engie are recruiting for an Assistant Technical Service Manager to be based in Calderdale Royal Hospital HX3 0NH. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week (The working hours will be Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00). On offer is a salary of circa £35,000 (dependant on experience) per annum.
The role holder will report to Technical Estates Manager and will collaborate and co-operate with the Service Partners to deliver a customer focused, cost effective and efficient Facilities Management Service at Calderdale Royal Hospital.
•Experienced in providing Technical support to the Estates Manager and Maintenance Team on technical services, variations, life cycle replacement programmes and external contracts within a set financial framework, and drive quality and performance standards.
•Provide support to the Estates Manager, monitor external contractors within a set financial framework, and HS&E, quality and performance to achieve best practice.
•Monitor the management of the operations team via the Maintenance Supervisor to minimise penalty deductions by delivering the estates maintenance services and by responding in a timely manner to all relevant issues in accordance with the requirements of the Concession Agreement.
•Manage the team to ensure the requirements of the Concession Agreement are achieved in a professional manner in line with statutory, NHS, Trust and Company guidelines.

•Previously worked within a maintenance environment with post qualifications
•Experience of operations and maintenance of buildings, engineering plant, services and equipment.
•Have an understanding of the operational procedures and safe working practices of building services and systems
•Have a good understanding of health and safety, with the ability to understand how to work in a safe manner
•ONC, BTEC NVQ Level 3 in electrical/mechanical/building services/management
•Good communication and customer care skills
•Proactive approach to problem solving
•Capable of working with minimum supervision
•Work as a team player and pass on knowledge to others
•Flexible and willing 
•Prepared to work out of hours as necessary
•Prepared to travel to other sites within the Company 
•Possess a current valid driving licence
Desirable
•Previously worked within a healthcare maintenance environment
•Computer literate
