ENGIE are looking for a proactive, self motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Hatfield, AL10 9NA on a permanent basis. If you’re the type of person who loves to communicate with a broad range of people and wants to develop your skills and career - this could be the role for you! You will ideally have a degree in quantity surveying and some work experience in the role. This is a long term role with development opportunities for the right candidate.
What is your day to day?
Assisting the QS with commercial administration and management on a number of live projects or projects at pre-construction phase.
Providing assistance to the finance, accounts, and estimating teams as necessary.
Attending internal and external project and Company related meetings as appropriate.
Developing an understanding of the designated contract, specification, construction drawings, and pricing ensuring compliance with conditions throughout the project.
Who are you?
Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying.
Experience within a surveying position
Ideally have general construction / industry knowledge (including new build and regeneration projects)
