The Divisional Development Team, responsible for delivering this strategy, sits within the Places & Communities Division with the objective to create a national development programme that stimulates economic growth, embeds partnerships and creates a sustainable platform for ENGIE’s products and services via sustainable place making. The Divisional Development Team also leads the P&C Division in evolving and managing strategic development programmes, business solutions, bid proposals and opportunities where ENGIE is forming Joint Ventures, investing and/or using 3rd party funding or where there is a complexity to a scheme where the regional businesses do not have the relevant expertise

This role will be supporting ENGIE’s Divisional Development Team’s strategy of sustainable place making, through the coordination and promotion land and partnership opportunities nationally, with a focus on supporting, shaping and building ENGIE’s existing key account relationship with Homes England into a strong sustainable strategic partnership. As part of a dynamic team this person will work with the P&C’s national and regional development & land community to identify, shape, assess and support the progression of the company’s priority land, development and investment project opportunities against key strategic and project criteria as well and the key account relationship with Homes England. The role will involve close liaison with a wide range of business sectors and divisions and the use of ENGIE’s CRM and communication tools to promote collaborative working on land, partnership, development and investment opportunities. Schemes may include both mixed use and mixed residential tenure options including, but not limited to, PRS, retirement living, open market sale and affordable homes.
The job holder will have:
· Experience of working on regeneration projects at various stages including;
· Land acquisition and opportunity identification
· Structuring and partnership
· Masterplanning and planning
· Handover to delivery teams
· Experience working within a development team of either an investment or development business, registered provider, local authority or developing contractor;
· Experience of working in different roles within the property and development sectors
· Experience of working with multiple stakeholders
· Degree in technical element of the development process or social science degree with subsequent practical development experience
· Holding or working towards a professional qualification such as MRICS or equivalent
