The Engie NA Renewables Fleet is undergoing a rapid growth in the grid scale solar and wind sector. It is critical to keep track on the assets’ exposure and analyze the drivers of the performance. We have selected four projects for the intern to work on. He or she will help the Grid Scale renewables asset management team track REC exposure and reporting, analyze historical CRR (a congestion hedging tool) price, report daily P&L and summarize PPA terms. She or he should be a self-motivated individual with good data manipulation skills using Excel and other tools. She or he must also possess good enough general business knowledge. The candidate must be flexible in his or her approaches and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-moving pace.
This internship position will help the student to gain deep knowledge in North America Power market and provide hands-on experience in renewables asset management. The intern will also have opportunities to further developing professional skills, data mining, data analysis (especially Excel) and business process automation.
The internship work term will be from Feb 1st 2021 – Oct 31st 2021, full-time work schedule working 40 hours per week.
What you bring:
· Must be at least a junior or senior (by end of spring semester) working toward a Bachelor or Master degree in MIS or Business Administration.
· Must possess a 3.0 GPA or higher & be able to work up to 40 hours per week
· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future sponsorship for employment visa status
· Proficient in Excel
· Must have the ability to think analytically, present ideas professionally, and work in project teams
