ENGIE are recruiting for a Administration Assistant to be based in  Burnley, BB10 1PD. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Main Responsibilities/Duties of the Administration Assistant Include:

· 
To ensure that procedures associated with the Procurement process such as; purchasing, goods receiving, approving/disputing invoices for payment, dealing with queries, relevant reports are completed and chasing aged debt etc are followed through.

· 
To provide day-to-day administration support to the Engie team using computer based IT packages such as Word, Excel etc.

· 
To follow procedures associated with ‘Uniforms’ for staff to include; carrying out stock checks, purchasing, issuing etc. and ensure that all documentation is maintained. 

· 
To provide administration support to the Projects team for lifecycle, small works and variations.

· 
To work within a team and provide support to each other.

· 
To provide administrative cover to other parts of the Administration team during staff absences.

· 
Ad-hoc office duties including telephone cover, stock checks and procurement of stationery and supplies, organisation of office.

· 
Carry out ‘ad-hoc’ filing associated with the on-site central filing system.

· 
Input of Community Use 

· 
Communicating with site teams and management.

· 
Attend training courses as required by the company.

· 
Maintain contacts lists

· 
Ensure all data and management information is maintained and communicated accurately to agreed deadlines.

· 
Any other Management requests

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  High level of competency in office related IT systems
·  Minimum of Maths & English GCSE level or equivalent 
·  Administration & IT related qualifications or relevant experience.
·  Experience in a similar role or progression towards.
·  Demonstrate a good understanding of health and safety principles
·  Able to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines
·  Work effectively under pressure.
·  Excellent people, interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
·  Excellent Customer care skills
·  Proactive approach to problem solving
·  Flexible and willing 
·  Prepared to work out of hours if necessary
·  Prepared to travel to other sites within the Company 
·  Good understanding of Health & Safety
