Job description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for assisting and collaborating in the execution of growth initiatives for The Home Depot (THD) PRO Sales Channel.  Support THD PRO Sales Associates via responsive and proactive communication regarding lead development, bid/project pricing, product availability, delivery status, and the creation of marketing collateral.  Develop a working knowledge of the Home Depot PRO account process and requirements, including but not limited to purchase orders, shipment details, jobsite services/deliveries, inventory management and returns.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Support Account Manager in the growth and execution of THD PRO business segment.
·  Responsible for THD PRO Sales Support helpdesk, including communication with Electrolux Delivery Center cross docks (EDCs).
·  Leading role in response to all inquiries from THD PRO Desks Associates and THD outside sales associates including new business leads, pricing quotes and job-site deliveries/ETAs.
·  Follow-up and track the progress of new project/bid opportunities.
·  Forecasting new projects and releasing orders in SAP.
·  Develop and maintain daily/weekly/monthly tracking for new THD PRO project/bid opportunities.  Develop understanding of ROI metrics between project pricing and cost to serve.
·  Prepare marketing materials and kitchen package brochures as requested from THD PRO Associates or Account Managers.
·  Develop an on-going understanding of EMA and competitive price points by product category and retailer.
·  Represent EMA NA at trade and industry shows/appearances and customer events.
·  Assist in new market set up and intra-departmental communications.
·  Other duties as assigned

Desired profile

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

·  College Degree preferred
·  2-3 years of Order Entry, Customer Service or Finance experience preferred, SAP experience preferred
·  Proficient Microsoft Excel and Word experience required
