Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Finance Apprentice to be based in 15 Hatfields, London, SE1 8DJ.

This is a fixed term (2 years) full time role (working 37.5 hours per week, including 1 day per week in house accountancy training) and on offer will be a salary of £15,600 per annum. This role will report into the Finance Business Partner.

The main duties and responsibilities are:

·  Responsible for providing finance support to Wakefield contract. Must be focused on customer care and finance excellence with a “can do” attitude with the flexibility and adaptability to be a team member in a changing business environment. Experience of working within a high profile, customer focused environment in addition to commercial and financial awareness including manipulation of high volumes of transactional data.

Fundamental aspects of the role include;

·  Working capital Management: Assisting with WIP, Billing debt management
·  Promoting, enforcing and supporting process compliance: Raising, receipting and closing down Purchase Orders; Timesheet and P-Cards processing; Work Orders management on systems
·  Reporting & Analysis: Assist Finance Business Partner with monthly, quarterly and annual cycles
·  Stakeholder engagements: Liaise with the Shared Service Center and Contract Teams as needed
·  Various ad-hoc activities may also arise

·  Rounded educational background
·  Experience in a Finance background
·  Understanding of purchase ledger
·  Excellent IT skills with Microsoft applications and SAP
·  Excellent communication and customer service skills
·  Demonstrate good time management skills, working to deadlines and adhering to set procedures.
·  Needs to be versatile and adaptive
·  Accountancy qualification will be supported
