We are a global leader in engineering consultancy looking for a talented Graduate Power Systems Engineer to join our fast-growing business. As part of the Power Engineering Business you’ll be surrounded by specialist Engineers, cutting edge projects and high profile clients to excite and develop you into a successful Chartered Engineer.
Upon joining you’ll have the opportunity to build upon existing theoretical knowledge by working on the planning, design, equipment selection, steady state and dynamic analysis, project management and operation of power systems and infrastructure – from low to extra high voltage.
This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious Power Systems graduate with a flair for problem solving and creativity, looking to build a career in engineering and work towards Chartered Engineer status.

Desired profile

 A Graduate with a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or above (MSc, PhD) by Sept 2017 in Power Systems/Electrical Engineering or related subject
 A strong communicator, you’ll have a natural ability to work well alongside different people, collaborating to share ideas and knowledge
 Self-motivated and organised, driven to make a difference, you’ll be confident in your abilities, ready to achieve your goals and develop your technical skills
 A keen problem solver with an analytical mind which you use to promote innovative ideas and thinking
 A competent writer able to accurately assemble written and numerical data into presentations and reports
 Client focussed, keen to understand more about us, our customers and ready to develop your commercial knowledge
 Prepared to undertake site based work on client sites throughout the UK
