Business Development Intern

Job description

Edge of Belgravia is a fast growing housewares company with pioneering design focus.

We are looking for a keen Business Development person to join us for 6 months or longer to work on varied tasks, including managing existing sales, prospecting for new sales, work on photo shoots, content for social media and find new ways of selling our products.

The key skills:
1. Persistence - does not give up and keeps chasing leads
2. Self-starter - takes initiative and responsibility
3. Organised and systematic
4. Not afraid of calling potential clients

Previous experience in sales, ideally phone sales, is an advantage but not strictly necessary.

The candidate will also work on service existing customers with product sheets and plan new sales etc. This work will be excluded from the commission arrangements.

Base salary - GBP 1000 per month + bonus

Working hours: 10.00 - 19.00
Based: Mayfair/Soho (London)
Start date: Ideally in July depending on availability.
