Help Manage A Tour With Strictly Come Dancing Singer, Lance Ellington

I'm Ed Barker (www.edbarker.co.uk) - former sax soloist for George Michael. This year, I've teamed up with Lance Ellington (principal singer on BBC Strictly Come Dancing) to produce a Broadway show (details here: www.edbarkerpresents.com). We need someone who is happy to jump straight in at the deep end with us, who has a keen eye for detail and who wants to gain an experience of managing and organising high profile events.

We have 13 bookings for the Autumn in various theatres around the UK and we'd love you to come on the road with us for the actual shows but the majority of the work will be done remotely, whenever you can fit it in with your other commitments. We both have other lives, jobs and need someone to take the strain so we can focus on the music and preparing the show.

You will deal directly with theatres on our behalf (you'll get your own email address , you will keep them on their toes and make sure they're doing everything they need to in terms of selling tickets and marketing the show. You will help us to set up regional media appointments and interviews and deal with the theatres print requirements and any social media.

Ed Barker will be your line manager and you and he will work closely together on things. Of course there will be an opportunity to see the shows, hang out and have fun once we've got everything together.

This will be a lot of fun and we are looking for someone to work for expenses only to begin with.

Desired profile

No qualifications necessary. A confident phone manner and excellent written English is crucial.
