Join our tightly knit team of superstars who enjoy working on large-scale challenging and interesting problems. The bulk of the team is located in Portland, Oregon and San Jose, California. We work in small focused, collaborative project teams following an agile methodology. Cross functional teams including product management, product development, and UXD work on a daily basis to create a successful product that delights our customers. The Sr. Android Engineer will have a depth of understanding and breadth of experience in Android, Java, and their related IDEs (Eclipse, Android Studio) as well as familiarity with the integration of network services. You must be familiar with and an advocate of the following Agile practices: Designing / giving functional and technical direction to a solution, TDD, clean code, software craftsmanship, Testing at all levels (unit, integration, and acceptance), Story Writing and tasking.

3+ years software design and development experience working on a team
3+ years experience developing commercial software with Java
3+ years experience developing Android Applications
3+ years experience developing and integrating with web services, TCP/IP and databases
A Java Programmer, capable of writing commercial quality Android applications.
A strong understanding in the Android operating system.
Solid working knowledge of mobile application design considerations.
Work well with team members and other teams, dividing up workload appropriately.
Experience with Java IDEs (e.g. Eclipse), profilers, debuggers, revision control systems (e.g. GIT) and bug tracking (e.g. Jira)

Education

BSCS or BSEE or Other Related 4yr Technical Degree
