This well-respected and world renowned e-commerce organization is seeking an experienced application security professional to work as part of a team on key initiatives within the Office of the CIO. This newly created role will serve to provide critical implementation, operations, maintenance, and administration of key security and compliance systems, applications and processes.
Architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate security-focused tools and services including project leadership roles
Responsible for creating, defining, and documenting the organization's application security and architectural requirements and associated policies and procedures.
Lead the secure design and development of the organization's applications by collaborating with team members in application development, quality assurance, project management, systems engineering and application engineering.
Perform vulnerability assessments and resolve security issues from assessments and other sources
Interact with engineering teams to educate on secure coding techniques and innovative attack mitigations
Applying security threat knowledge from internal and external sources to IT and business projects to ensure enterprise applications and connected systems are protected
Evaluating security of cloud-based solutions
Coordinating and leading projects across cross-functional teams that are vital to security posture
Requirements:
Threat Management experience.
Prior application development experience.
Technical Expertise with MS OS, Linux/UNIX, MAC OS at the server and workstation levels.
Expertise with Leading Security products, server builds, systems fortification, provisioning hardware for operational function around application or service.
Comprehensive understanding of enterprise IT application architecture and design across authentication/authorization, web, application, and database tiers
Hands-on penetration testing experience against enterprise applications and perimeter defenses
Experience with security detection/prevention and access technologies for protecting cloud-based applications/environments
Experience implementing or operating security detection/prevention tools and processes for securing enterprise applications
Understanding of software development and secure coding practices, to include usage of static and dynamic analysis methods to identify software vulnerabilities
Demonstrated ability to learn, apply and communicate new knowledge at an accelerated rate
