StubHub is looking for a brilliant Front End Developer to be part of a small, self-driven team that is building custom analytics tools in Center City Philadelphia.

Job Description

The Reporting Team at StubHub is tasked with supporting the business in all facets of the data supply chain involving data consumption and analysis.  Our team creates value for StubHub by enabling internal business users and external partners to access relevant, actionable data.  We address nuances in data by striving to understand the business areas we support, and then building custom software to address needs.  We work at scale with a small team by executing quickly, prioritizing ruthlessly and automating as many processes as possible.  As our product offering continues to grow, we're looking for another full-time, peer team member to help us advance our most important projects forward.

Job Requirements

The Front End Developer will be responsible for all user-facing components of our full stack Business Intelligence platform.  As the product owner, the Developer will ensure that our application provides a highly functional, fully featured, intuitive user interface custom-built for our user base.  The Developer will be expected to continuously innovate and iterate on the existing design and code base by incorporating insights from our user base to alleviate frustration and increase self-service.  A keen eye for intuitive design, especially with respect to displaying data in a visually stimulating way, is essential.  In addition, the Developer should be a dynamic problem solver willing to bring the full scope of his or her creativity to bear in order to continue to delight our users.

Key Skills

· 
Front end development.  Ability to use jQuery, Bootstrap, general CSS wizardry, etc. to make fast, polished web pages.

· 
Working knowledge HTML and javascript.

· 
UI/UX research.  Experience designing and building novel user interfaces based on user feedback and needs.

· 
Requirements analysis. Ability to work directly with users to understand their needs, translate them into workable requirements, and implement them in a successful final product.

· 
Data analysis.  Familiarity with accessing, manipulating and interpreting data to inform decision-making.

· 
Business experience.  Setting priorities, managing expectations, gathering customer feedback.
