Job description

Job Description

Engineering and Technology Excellence is the foundation of innovation and new product development. As a response to our commitment to engineering excellence, we have designed an IMechE accredited rotational graduate programme focused on developing the Titchfield Engineering department’s talent pipeline. The Titchfield Engineering Graduate Program will develop top class engineers for future functional roles such as Technical Lead on Projects and Chief Engineer.

About the Program:

The program is based in the Titchfield Engineering department designing aircraft fuel systems and their components. The rotational aspect of the program will allow for the development of skills and knowledge in functions both within and outside engineering. Such knowledge of different departments and their relationships will further enhance the capability of Titchfield’s engineering department, whilst the participants will have the opportunity to gain operational knowledge in addition to engineering design and development experience with Titchfield’s new products and technologies.

In summary:
- the program consists of 2 years of rotational placements, initially within engineering and then broadening into the other departments of Titchfield.
- after two years participants, pending review will have the opportunity to apply for a role in design, systems or project engineering team.
- the scheme is aligned with the Monitored Professional Development Scheme provided by the IMechE with the rotational aspects designed for Chartership competencies to be initially covered.
- the accredited scheme provides full support towards chartership with a professionally registered mentor available throughout the scheme.
- participants will have a high level of interaction with Eaton Leadership.
- participants will be expected to formally present project updates to Engineering Leadership and will receive multiple opportunities for networking and formal training.
