Eaton Corporation in Lincoln, IL has openings for Assemblers (1st ,2nd and 3rd shifts).
The assembler will involve various numbers of employees working together in a group to produce load center devices, metering devices or ACD devices. The employees will be knowledgeable and be able to perform all basic operations needed to produce the parts from start to finish. This will include set up, assembly, and repairing when necessary.
The employees in this cell will perform quality and SPC checks where necessary to produce good quality devices. They will share in handling all materials used in the cell and the movement of finished devices to designated areas. It will be the group's responsibility to count parts on a periodic basis and order parts as needed. The incumbents will adhere to all facility safety guidelines and encourage communication and participation of personnel to further identify and reduce/ eliminate potential hazards. The incumbents will adhere to and support all facility environmental guidelines and procedures to identify additional pollution prevention projects to reduce waste and raw material consumption. The incumbent will also be responsible for organization and cleanliness of the work area, and will support and abide by all procedures set forth to assure product and process quality and support plant manufacturing principles

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)

Basic Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or G.E.D required from an accredited institution.
-Authorized to work in United States without company sponsorship.
-No relocation is provided. Candidate must reside within a 50 mile radius of Lincoln, IL in order to be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Previous manufacturing or assembly experience
