Job requirements

·  Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Microsoft SQL DBA (more specifically: knowledge of 2012 and 2016, 2017)
·  Understand SQL Server High Availability such as Always ON, SQL Cluster, Database Mirroring.
·  Able to independently set up, set up, configure, upgrade and manage Microsoft SQL server environments
·  Experience with performance and tuning and the ability to make a Technical Design
·  Knowledge of and experience with one or more of the following products: Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SCCM or Citrix products
·  Ability to work in a team.
·  Quick orientation and decision-making in stressful situations.
·  Willingness to work in flexible hours (weekend overtime, after business hours) if needed 10-20% of contracted work time
·  Willingness to participate in on-call duty and 24/7 response
·  English is required (speaking and writing).

Main Responsibilities:

·  Designing and implementing new infrastructure for databases layer (Including products of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014/2016/2017).
·  Designing and implementing security configurations using best practices and standards (Including products of Microsoft Azure SQL Database, Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014/2016/2017).
·  Designing and implementing Database environment migration from Microsoft SQL Server 2012 to Microsoft SQL Server 2017, without downtime on user database layer.
·  Planning and implementing maintenance procedures for Microsoft SQL Servers (Including PowerShell for automation.)
·  Designing and implementing Transactional Replication, Database Mirroring, Microsoft Failover Clustering (Active/Passive), as part of Disaster Recovery Plan for database layer.
·  Creating and implementing new database optimization products based on Microsoft PowerShell scripts. (Including Database Index Optimization procedures, database integrity procedures, Microsoft SQL Server security quality procedures etc.)
·  Designing and Implementing the new Microsoft SQL Servers concepts like Data partitioning, Snapshot isolation, database snapshot, online indexing, MS SQL Server Agent Jobs and Alerts, SQLCMD, SQL Server PowerShell.
·  Automating (SQL Server PowerShell) daily routine Developer/DBA tasks like handling user's permissions, space issues on database layer and handling maintenance Jobs including database backup/restore operations, statistics updates, database integrity checks etc.

       – Exam [70-761 ], Querying Data with Transact-SQL
       – Exam [70-762 ], Developing SQL Databases

MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Administration certification
       – Exam [70-764 ], Administering a SQL Database Infrastructure
       – Exam [70-765 ], Provisioning SQL Databases

·  ITIL knowledge (ITIL foundation or higher certificate would be advantage)
·  Salary from 2000 EUR monthly gross to 2700 EUR monthly gross
