Mainframe CA7 scheduling Operations – 24/7 Support

Z/OS, OMEGAMON,CA7, HMC, CISCO device Manager, Tivoli, JCL, REXX, HSM, CICS IMS

·  Perform first level monitoring of CA7 Batch jobs, IMS transactions and Mainframe Console.
·  Ensure a good overall health of the system and respond to outstanding messages/Incidents.
·  Responsible for the day to day operations of TSO mainframe computing facilities ensuring high customer availability.
·  Monitor and control the operation of the mainframe hardware and software for unusual conditions, and work with system programming and production control staff to ensure the health and normal operation of the systems.
·  Demonstrate proficiency in use of all MVS, JES2 and JES3, CA7, VTAM, OMEGAMON, TIVOLI, CISCO Switch, Virtual Tapes and system software commands for ongoing monitoring and detailed problem diagnosis.
·  Perform and Support IPL and Disaster Recovery.
·  Actively participate in the analysis and review of proposed system configuration changes.
·  Participate in Problem Determination with technical support personnel including vendors and users.
·  Accurately document system failures during the process of problem identification and problem determination.
·  * Willing to Support in Shifts 24 x 7

Skills Required:

·  Proficiency in use of Z/OS, OMEGAMON,CA7, HMC, CISCO device Manager, Tivoli, JCL, REXX, HSM, CICS IMS and system software commands for ongoing monitoring and detailed problem diagnosis. Should willing to work in shifts (24/7)

Years of Experience:  4 yrs to 6 yrs
