Summary

Provides on-site field support to customers. Performs PC installations, repairs, upgrades/migrations and maintenance on software/hardware equipment.

Essential Job Functions

·  Provides on-site field support to customers including installation, and servicing and repairing PC systems and equipment. Verifies and approves operational quality of system equipment.
·  Resolves customer issues in the areas of hardware/software installation, repair, upgrade and maintenance. Assists in investigating and resolving complex installations and maintenance matters of significance.
·  Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of systems/equipment.
·  Ensures issues are referred to the appropriate personnel/service areas for follow up, testing and troubleshooting and proper process/documentation is followed completely.
·  Acts as a liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
·  Performs analysis and prepares reports on system problem trends and issues.

Basic Qualifications

·  High school diploma or G.E.D.
·  4+ years of field support experience in PC troubleshooting and repair.
·  Experience working with the company's hardware (PC -laptops, desktops, and tablets), software (COTS and proprietary) and equipment products, such as some smartphone and/or tablet equipment.
·  Must have 3+ years of experience in a work environment with Windows 7 and Windows 10.
·  Experience working with SLA’s and ticketing systems such as Remedy or ServiceNow.
·  Must have outstanding customer services skills with proven soft skills.
