NoSQL Developer

Within our Business Unit Pharmacy & Medication at DXC, we develop (among other things) web applications to support the complex Medication Management processes within Care Institutions. What we need you for is to help improve and maintain our products.

What you will be doing

·  Delivering loosely coupled, highly cohesive, and testable code, which is easily maintainable and future-proof
·  Designing and implementing the software architecture for exposing business logic through RESTful services
·  Developing new features and improve existing ones together with a cross-functional team
·  Sharing what you know and learn with your Dutch coworkers

How will you be doing this?

·  You fulfill your role as NoSQL Developer
·  You join in on discussions about technical choices, such as our architecture, tools and processes.
·  You contribute to and pitch your own ideas concerning the application
·  You work together with other developers to deliver sound technical solutions and agreed upon results

Skills

·  Good knowledge of NoSQL Databases (i.e. Cassandra, HortonWorks, MongoDB, InterSystems Cache, or others)
·  Knowledge of and experience with at least one object-oriented programming, preferably .NET
·  You are keen to learn new technologies
·  You have the skill to solve complex issues

Requirements

·  Higher education
·  Deep understanding and a minimum of 3 years working experience with NoSQL databases
·  Ability to analyze business requirements and design technical solutions to match requirements
·  Good communication skills in English
·  Teamwork skills

Bonus points if

·  Experience with InterSystems Cache
·  Experience with .NET, ASP.NET and Web API
·  You have experience with TFS and VSS
·  You have knowledge and experience in Healthcare systems
