This is an intermediate level Network & Gateway support position, required to provide operational support life-cycle activities including network and gateway management, incident & problem management, network health and capacity management of the network & gateway infrastructure for a large federal government client of DXC Technology.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be a member of a team and you will be responsible for providing intermediate level operational supports of a DXC client’s network and gateway infrastructure. The candidate may be required to interface directly with client on-site representatives, Telco Service providers and on-site Technical support and deployment staff.  The candidate may be required to participate in after hours and on call support arrangements.

Required Skills: -

·  CCNA or equivalent knowledge.
·  1-2 years’ experience working in an enterprise level environment supporting data network infrastructure.
·  Hands-on experience with network routers, switches, and firewalls.
·  Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
·  Familiar with formal change control procedures.
·  Knowledge of monitoring and metrics tools such as Solarwinds/HPNNMi.

Desired Skills:

·  Previous experience with one or more of the following technologies is preferred but not mandatory.
·  Checkpoint/ASA firewalls.
·  F5 Lod balancing (LTM).
·  Bluecoat Proxy Appliances
·  Cisco Email Security Appliance (IronPort)
·  HP Comware Switches.
·  BGP/OSPF/VRF
·  SSL/IPSec VPN

All candidates must be Australian Citizens and willing to undertake a Baseline security clearance.
