Design & Marketing Assistant

Divine Aesthetic is a small but growing design & marketing company based in Portsmouth. We look after all areas of digital marketing, web design & development, graphic design and branding. The business has recently expanded its service offering to include monthly marketing support and a stand alone website dedicated to supplying quality print products. We're also developing a sub brand to address entry level design and marketing requirements, as well as developing and enhancing the range of core services offered through Divine Aesthetic.

As a Design & Marketing Assistant Intern, you’ll be doing a little bit of everything, from helping on projects to updating our systems and processes. You’ll work across all aspects of the business so there’s opportunity to learn a wide variety of new skills that will help you develop and progress in a creative agency environment.

The Role.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

Prepare and upload images for web
Update Wordpress content
Support weekly email marketing activity and blog posts
Create mockups for client presentations
Provide input and support to the branding process
Research to support the creative process
Create graphics/images for social media
Support social media marketing activity
Support social media advertising strategies
Manage Divine Aesthetic social media profiles
Create content, upload products and support Divine Aesthetic Printshop website
Create content, upload products and support new sub brands
Support with video and motion graphics editing
Support with preparation of print quotes
Support with monthly updates/backups of client websites
Support with preparation and running of events
Support with quoting, invoicing and general admin tasks.

The Person.

Well organised
Efficient and high attention to detail
An understanding of graphic design
Previous creative/agency experience would be useful
Some marketing experience would be useful
Interest in current design trends
Interest in current media trends
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite/Creative Cloud
Experience with updating Wordpress would be useful
Comfortable talking and liaising with clients
Hungry to learn new things
Adaptable
A good sense of humour (essential)

Full training will be given for the person with the right skills and attitude.
