Position: Compliance and Facilities Manager

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

For the role of Compliance and Facilities Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that you supervise the running of a safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve defined outcomes for the site and the customer(s). To maintain the CP2 license to operate by providing all the necessary Health, Safety, Security and Transport Compliance requirements to the relevant standards including HSE, CAA and DVSA. To proactively manage and maintain a safe working environment for all colleagues at the CP2. To proactively manage and maintain a secure facility and ensure the secure screening of all airline supplies meets the requirements of the CAA and Heathrow Airport Compliance.
Key Responsibilities in this role will include;
Budget responsibilities for H&S and security training
Budget accountability for facilities management and plant maintenance
Ensure that all H&S legal requirements, in line with company procedures and legislation are ahered to
Ensure all colleagues on are trained to the required standard for their role profile - H&S, Security
Ensure all site Risk Assessments, SOP and working instructions are delivered to all colleagues
Ensure all FLM's have adequate training and support into working in a safe environment & accident investigation leadership
To lead the team at the CP2 to deliver contractual and divisional KPI's
Ensure compliance with the company's substance misuse & drink policy
Maintain adherence to Food Hygiene (HAACP) regulations
Statutory testing of site plant and equipment
Ensure all security processes and procedures are adhered to on site in line with DHL, CAA and DVSA regulations
Management of a preventative maintenance programme
Work with 3rd parties to deliver excellent service and value for money
To manage DHL site initiatives BCM & PtoQ
To maintain OHSAS accreditation
Desired profile
Key skills and experience in this role will include:
Maintaining open communication with SS HSE Manager
CAA & DVSA compliance
1 years' experience in operational H&S
Evidence of customer engagement at contractual level
Educated to university degree level or equivalent professional qualifications / experience within business management/H&S
NEBOSH certified
Level 3 Aviation Security
Food Safety knowledge
