Responsibilities
· Receives requests for support from business users
· Prioritizes requests in accordance with agreed criteria and the needs of the organisation in accordance with SLAs and current processes and procedures
· Investigate problems and support requests and determine appropriate action
· Provides correct responses to requests for support by means of: manipulating data, reconfiguring systems, helping to implement changes to operating procedures, training users or operations staff, producing additional documentation, or escalating requests
· Follows quality standards and policies relating to their technical specialism(s)
· Liaises with staff responsible for the design & development of system enhancements to overcome known problems or further fulfill user requirements
· May be assigned specific project related tasks
Desired profile
Requirements
· Degree in IT
· Min 2 years experience in technical support, software maintenance or development
· Min 2 experience in Web Methods
· Provide 24x7 support to countries and prepare to work during weekends/public holidays
· Must be willing to work on rotating shifts (Morning, Noon and Night)
· Creative problem solving skills and an ability to work conceptually
· Customers and end-users focused
· Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally
