DHL Same Day is a 24x7x365 expedited transportation company which is part of DHL Global Forwarding.Our corporate office is located in Sterling, VA.We are looking to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk to work in our Finance Team.

Responsibilities include:

• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment

• Data entry and spreadsheet uploading of invoices (high volume)

• Execute payments – process check runs in system and properly compile and distribute checks and electronic payments

• Work with approvers to analyze and resolve vendor payment discrepancies

• Respond to all vendor inquiries

Qualifications include:

• 1-2 years of transactional accounting experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Dependability with an excellent attendance record

• Ability to work as a team player
