We manage the efficient supply of airfreight-containers and –pallets, so called Unit Load Devices (ULDs) for 13 leading airlines at over 500 airports globally.

For our regional office in Dallas we are looking for you as an Administrator in our Unit Load Devices-Control Desk. You will be responsible for the Unit Load Devices (ULD) supply and the ground handling compliance at the hubs and stations worldwide in our customer’s network.

Main Responsabilities:

·  Steering the customer’s Unit Load Devices (ULD) supply worldwide, reporting to the Supervisor Unit Load Devices Control Dallas
·  Responsible for Unit Load Devices (ULD) movement control and to realize a 100% Service Level at the customer at any time.
·  Establishing a strong business relationship with our customer, American Airlines
·  Executing the station inventory management:  Analyze Unit Load Devices (ULD) demand forecasting network requirements, and continuous optimization of stock levels at stations, supervision of Unit Load Devices-positioning process
·  Independently analyze the weak areas of the Unit Load Devices (ULD) supply and the data quality.  Develop and implement solutions in close cooperation with the affected areas
·  Handle station Unit Load Devices (ULD) requests: Take action on the various detailed requests, allotting of the Unit Load Devices, freight reservations in airline systems, transport supervision, exception management
·  Responsibility for compliance to customer requirements by analyzing Unit Load Devices (ULD) movements and network imbalances and by comparing data entries, and stock levels 
·  Defining, generating and evaluating various reports, monitoring especially the material and repair costs to the manager ground handling procedures
·  Responsibility for compliance to Jettainer procedures of ground handling companies within the customers network
·  Responsibility for the smooth operation and to improve product and process quality of ground handling procedures at main stations of the clients’ network
·  Execution of trainings for ground handling staff to increase the daily service quality in Unit Load Devices (ULD) handling on the airport
·  Responsibility for the implementation of a continuous improvement process
·  Other duties as assigned or required

Desired profile

Your profile

·  Bachelor`s degree, preferred, or equivalent work experience
·  Airport or cargo handling experience would be an advantage
·  A strong command in English, German would be an advantage
·  Excellent communication and persuasion skills
·  Very good knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
·  Ability to analyze and execute reports
·  A strong commitment to customer requirements is her/his working attitude
·  Experienced in implementing Lean Methodologies or other process/ quality improvement models
·  Self-Driven, dynamic and motivated personality
·  Experienced as trainer would be an advantage
·  Highly developed interpersonal
·  Strong leadership skills
·  Project management skills  
·  Ability to develop and implement procedures and concepts independently
·  Flexible and stress resistant
·  Ability to travel intensively and work weekends/ public holidays when needed

Required qualifications:

·  Several years' experience in managing and steering limited resources with very good achievements and a strong focus on continuous improvement concepts
