This summer, jump start your career and take your business skills to the next level when you join Deloitte Consulting LLP's Strategy & Operations practice. We’re looking for a sharp, critical thinker with a gift for analysis to help us review clients’ business issues and develop and implement actionable recommendations. In this role, you’ll work side by side with talented leaders and examine how they think about strategic choices to help drive the quality and success of clients’ organizational strategies.

Work you’ll do
As a Business Analyst Summer Scholar you’ll be assigned to one or more client projects and will collaborate with team members to help dynamic, market-leading client organizations tackle their complex business problems and drive tangible results. You’ll assist in outlining the requirements of clients’ projects and programs and help make presentations that communicate research and strategy in an easy-to-understand, visually attractive way. Bring your creativity and innovative problem-solving skills to take on a variety of finance, strategy, marketing, and operations challenges. During your internship, you’ll broaden your consulting and leadership skills while developing your network of fellow students and Deloitte professionals.

Desired profile

Qualifications
Required
• Pursuing a degree in business, finance, engineering, economics, accounting or related field (junior standing)
• Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.5)
• Ability to participate full-time for a 10-week internship (June to August 2016)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to share finding with others
• Ability to work independently and within a team culture
• Willingness to travel

During this challenging and inspiring learning experience, you’ll gain first-hand insights into technical skills, critical professional behaviors, standards, and mindsets needed to be effective as a strategy consultant. You’ll work with a wide variety of talented strategic leaders and learn how to develop, implement, and measure innovative strategies, tackle real-world business issues head-on, and experience first-hand the day-to-day challenges and opportunities of this exciting career.
