Role Overview

SecureWorks Security Risk and Consulting group is rapidly expanding its security architecture and design practice. We are currently looking for a strong security architect with proven experience delivering security programs which assess security architecture and controls, determine requirements, analyse, plan, implement, and test security systems. You will be a key member of a team responsible for executing strategic engagements for our Security Design & Architecture practice, including assisting security services sales, managing program execution, and customer relationships in order to grow our security architecture business. You will work closely with the rest of the security services delivery organization and services sales organization in order to identify, qualify and maximize revenue for the full information security services portfolio, for both existing and new accounts.

Role Responsibilities

The Security Architect will have customer-centric abilities with proven experience interacting with the customers and managing customer engagements.

· Build and execute programs to help customers determine and assess security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements, conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments, and preparing security architecture/platform requirements

· Develop programs that help customers plan security systems by evaluating network and security technologies, developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, Next Generation Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and related security and network devices adhering to customer requirements and industry standards

· Assume a lead role as a technical trusted advisor for large and complex integrated information security projects

· Directly interface with the external customers on projects

· Establish a professional working and consultative relationship with the customer, up to and including the C-level for mid-to-large accounts, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the customer

· Understand the customer´s business, their business environment and their information security needs to develop and tailor the most appropriate solution

· Strategize and create new and innovative security architecture solutions that drive changes for the benefit of our customers

· Achieve a minimal level of consulting chargeability, commensurate with, and for the purposes of our business development goals

Desired profile

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

· Extensive experience managing a large enterprise network consisting of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, WAF and 802.11 wireless

· Proficient experience performing Security Assessments and Writing Assessment Reports

· Previous experience building: Enterprise Security Architectures (2,500 or more users); Security Architecture Diagrams and Data Flows; Security Use Cases

· Proficient Technical Writing on Cyber Security

· Previous experience presenting Technical Reports to C Level Execs and Technical Resources

· Hands on experience:

o with the following SIEM tools, major ticketing system, VMS tools and Firewalls tools.

· Knowledge of one or more Security Frameworks and have implemented security architectures based one of these frameworks (for example ISO 2700X, TOGAF, NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISF Standard, SABSA, CCP Information Architect)

Preferences

· Minimum Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification, CCIE preferred

· Project Management experience is preferred

· Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or willingness to achieve these within the next 24 months.
