Strategic Business Development Advisor - Austin, TX (170008YC)

Role Overview
The Global Operations Strategy team is a high-performing internal consulting organization responsible for setting and enabling the strategic agenda for Dell's supply chain operations. As a Corporate Development Advisor, you will be part of a hand-picked team with high visibility to Dell's executive leadership. You should be comfortable with a fast-paced dynamic environment, be able to clearly and concisely communicate recommendations and conclusions with the support of detailed analysis and sources, and may be asked to regularly participate in cross-functional teams in support of initiatives throughout the organization.

Role Responsibilities
-Play an active role in critical projects to improve Dell's global, end-to-end supply chain
-Collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions and influence change
-Drive key strategic initiatives for the organization, working individually as part of small, focused teams
-Collect data, conduct analyses and communicate insights to drive strategies and decision making
-Work with top executives across the organization to shape and drive strategic agendas

Desired profile

Requirements
-Undergraduate degree with a major in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related subjects and 2+ years of relevant experience
-Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities
-Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
-Distinctive problem solving, quantitative analytical
-Proficient in using Microsoft tools – PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
-Drive for results, self-direction and motivation
-Flexible to quickly adapt to new challenges and learn new material

Preferences
-2+ years of work experience (Strategy and/or Finance background)
-Project based consulting experience – operations related
-Supply Chain or procurement experience
-Project based strategy consulting experience
-Familiarity with database and languages such as SQL
