IT Help Desk Technician

Job description

As an IT Help Desk Technician, you will provide technical and troubleshooting assistance related to computer hardware and software, mobile devices and other tech tools and products. In this role, you will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Helpdesk. The technician will provide in-house and remote end user technical support for the proper functioning of Dassian's hardware, software, printers, scanners, phones and related technology.

Responsibilities:
• Provide technical assistance and support for user issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, and phone system
• Installation and setup of new PCs, as well as monitors, printers, phones, and other hardware
• Perform hardware and workstation software installations
• Provide IT support for all printers and copiers
• Help remote users with internet and connectivity issues
• Asset and support ticket tracking
• Support office networks and other hardware supporting networks
• Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization
• Sharepoint support and maintenance
• Other duties may be added and/or assigned as needed

Desired profile

* Exceptional customer service skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Ability to bend creativity, problem solving, and technical skills to support business needs
• Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook. Office 365 experience a plus
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems including Windows 7 and 10
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• A desire and capability to learn new applications, maintaining a positive and constructive attitude}
