As a SOLIDWORKS Product Management Intern, you will report to the Director of Product Management at Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks. You will play an important and critical role in the overall success of SOLIDWORKS products.
You will be part of new dynamic, fast paced, leading edge software product management initiatives critical to the future of SOLIDWORKS. You will be exposed to the world of Market Research, Product Management, Digital and Social Marketing, e-commerce, etc.
You will learn how companies interact with users and customers, research the market, launch products, define and execute marketing strategies of the new, online, browser based, industry solutions
You will be responsible for the following…
Creating cool 3D models using new SOLIDWORKS branded products
Creating images and videos explaining how to use these products and explaining product capabilities
Writing blog posts about using these products
Creating and executing marketing surveys, process user feedback and create summary PPT presentations
Performing market research about similar products and content in the market
You will also be responsible for participating in and managing specific aspects of the new product's Beta program
This is a paid internship, full time 40 hours per week May, 2018 – August 2018 you will be based at Dassault Systèmes North American Headquarters at 175 Wyman Street, Waltham, Massachusetts. You will work with a mentor from our team who will act as a guide for the required tasks.
Your Challenges ahead:
Developing 3D models using new SOLIDWORKS software
Creating social media engagement such as blog posts, tweets, etc.
Creating images, recordings, learning and training material and samples
Managing and communicating with Beta participants
Collecting and compiling Beta results and feedback
Designing, creating, executing and processing market/user surveys using Survey Monkey and MS PowerPoint/Word Your key success factors Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Masters program Engineering background – Mechanical Engineering preferred Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0 Advanced functional use of 3D CAD tools Social media savvy Ability to work independently and/or within a collaborative team structure Functional use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint Strong communication skills in English, both orally and in writing
