Jess was recently assigned to a client project. The responsibilities were to support the customer’s deployment of GEOVIA’s solutions in their environment. Jess did a preliminary assessment of the IT environment and software solutions that were being replaced and that would remain. After careful consideration on the technical requirements, made recommendations on the scope of the project and level of effort required to execute. Jess then led the project from business analysis, design, through to deployment of the GEOVIA solution in the customer’s environment. Jess continues to support the customer with deploying software updates and configuration enhancements. Jess has been in this role for the past few years and has taken gradually increasing responsibilities and autonomy. Jess has worked with mining companies in the past to help deploy software solutions in their environment. Coming to Dassault Systemes was a great career choice. Jess’s story can be yours.

40% Solutions Consulting/Training:

Delivery of consulting solution services, participate in solution design and implementation

Participates in software implementation of complete project solution within scope of each project

Designs and delivers training courses as required

40% Technical and Product Support

Develop, modify and maintain solution customizations including reports, data entry screens, integration adapters…

Demonstrates sound product knowledge and understanding of scope of product, its functionality and application to industry

Provides support to resolve customer / user requirements

Provides feedback on product direction, improvements and enhancements

Participates in quality assessment and testing of pre-release product improvements and enhancements

Builds legacy Product expertise to keep up to date with latest technologies

20% Business Development:

Contributes to business development strategy for consulting services

Helps to analyze client product use and identifies business opportunities for consulting services and sales

Participates in the preparation and submission of proposals/demonstration, bids and tenders

Contributes to Initiating, maintaining and building client relationships

Help analyze client product use and identifies business opportunities for consulting services and sales

RequirementsExigences

Background :

University degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science

Earth Sciences studies is a plus

2 years experience in the mining industry is a plus

Requirements:

Microsoft SQL server (2008R2, 2012, 2014)

- Database Engine

- Reporting Services

- Analysis Services (OLAP Cube)

- Integration Services

SQL language

SQL configuration, setup and maintenance

Visual Studio 2008, 2012, 2015

Windows 2008 R2/2012 R2 server support

Report creation using systems such as SQL Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, Business Objects or similar

Personal Attributes:

Able to work within a project timeframe

Languages:

English - Excellent reading, oral and written communication
