SUMMARY
The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Community Marketing Department with a variety of social media and marketing initiatives for SOLIDWORKS and DraftSight.

This is a paid part- time internship with a minimum of 20+ hours per week required starting September 6-12-19, 2016 – December 30, 2016. The Intern will not exceed 999 hours worked in a one year period from start date.

The internship is based at Dassault Systèmes North American Headquarters at 175 Wyman Street, Waltham, Massachusetts. There is a free shuttle bus service during the morning and evening commutes between the MBTA’s Red Line Alewife T stop and our office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

SOLIDWORKS
• Assist with scheduling of blog posts, draft and editing copy for the social channels
• Assist with creating unique technical blog post copy
• Creating unique/themed parts within SOLIDWORKS for our users
• Assisting with pulling reports from Social Tool and Omniture

General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Researching industry-specific sites (blogs, forums, etc), customer comments, and other relevant marketing information

REQUIREMENTS
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor, Master, or PhD program
• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor, Master, or PhD program for the duration of the internship; cannot not graduate or have graduated
• Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher
• Work onsite at a Dassault Systèmes location; no remote or offsite permitted
• Knowledge and experience with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social media platforms
• Ability to work independently and/or within a collaborative team structure
• Positive, self-motivated individual with high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn and incorporate coaching and instructions into daily tasks and assignments
• Highly organized with critical attention to details
• Ability and willingness to self-teach new and advance software functions; coaching and instruction will be provided, but we want someone who goes after knowledge
• Possess new technology curiosity and a history of self-technical education; you are not nervous about what you don’t know in technology, but excited about it due to your curiosity
• Strong functional use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and knowledge of Access or SQL
• Strong communication skills in two parts: 1.) very strong writing skills utilizing the rules of English grammar; 2.) verbally clear, concise, and grammatically correct oral (speaking) communication skills in English
