The Digital & Social Media Marketing Intern will be very actively involved in a variety of digital and social media projects focused on 3DS.com, as well as the social media properties associated with our sites. He/she will be expected to help manage publishing efforts and will be actively involved in the internal coordination and communication efforts around our departmental activities. In addition the Intern will be active in the creation and management of select performance reports to help our organization to gain visibility into our digital performance.

This is a paid internship, minimum of 20 hours per week (possibly scaling up to 40 hours per week) running from March 2017 – May 2017.

The internship is based at Dassault Systèmes North American Headquarters at 175 Wyman Street, Waltham, Massachusetts. There is a free shuttle bus service during the morning and evening commutes between the MBTA’s Red Line Alewife T stop and our office.

• Creation of digital collateral (images, banners, possibly infographics) to support our North America marketing activities utilizing Adobe Photoshop as well as other image editing tools.
• Participates in the digital execution around online campaigns including the following:
> WordPress updates
> Social Media Updates
• Involved in Paid search and social and SEO
• Contribute to a variety of measurement and social media reports
• Coordinate and help to manage ongoing Digital Activities calendar which entails a variety of spreadsheets and project management tools

• Strong multi-media skills - Adobe Photoshop (video editing skills would be a “nice to have” as well). Strong creative input will be solicited around media for digital distribution.
> In addition to your resume, please include samples of your work product; classwork and school projects are applicable
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor, Master, or PhD program
• Minimum cumulative GPA 3.3 or higher
• WordPress experience, you are technically curious person and learned some functionality of this application on your own
• Social Media Publishing Experience (Adobe Social & Hootsuite)
• Search Engine Marketing (Paid Search and Paid Social)
• Strong Microsoft Office skills using PowerPoint-PPT, Word, Excel, Outlook
• Exceptional multitasking and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines and you can communicate with team members about status of projects
• Positive, self-motivated individual with high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn and incorporate coaching and instructions into daily tasks and assignments
• Highly organized with critical attention to details
• Ability and willingness to self-teach new and advance software functions; you are technically curious by nature
> Coaching and instruction will be provided, but we want someone who goes after knowledge
• Very strong writing skills utilizing the rules of English grammar, along with clear and concise oral communication skills in English
• High level of curiosity around this space, and demonstrated ability to self-educate around problems
• Active personal engagement around web activities (likely a mix of active publishing, social, community/user groups)
