We have an exciting opportunity for a Third Party Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain team here at our head office in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. This is a permanent, full time position.
Objectives of the role :
Working with external Suppliers and a wide selection of internal stakeholders, you will contribute to the 99% Service level delivery Supply Chain provide to our Homeward Patients
Develop & monitor KPI's to ensure that Service levels & Inventory targets are achieved & that root causes are identified with appropriate action.
Provide support to the Supply Planning Manager in the development of setting optimum safety stock levels , defining best practice processes & driving improvements across the category, whilst delivering key service level targets and minimising write offs.
On a day to day basis, prioritise issues as and when they occur & depending on severity delivering a successful resolution to issues.
Be responsible for the implementation and system set up of new product introductions, changes & discontinuations within the 3rd Party portfolio.
The successful candidate will have:
Experience of working within a supply chain environment
Thorough understanding of the tools and techniques associated with supply chain management
Analytical skills
Ability to manage own workload and utilise that of a team
Comfortable with Change
Proficient with Microsoft Excel (advanced user preferable)
Continuous improvement mind set
