Your role as Patent Attorney
As our Patent Attorney you will lead and manage the global patent activities within dedicated projects for the Specialized Nutrition division, including identifying and protecting innovations. You are directly responsible for all aspects of prosecution of the patent portfolio in your area of accountability. Within Danone Specialized Nutrition, patents continue to play an increasingly important role. Your main responsibilities will include:

·  Develop, operate and drive patent strategy in global projects
·  Ensure implementation of patent strategy by working closely with stakeholders
·  Responsible for the patent prosecution & oppositions, drafting and filling patent applications;
·  Managing global patent activities within several projects.

About You
You are a seasoned patent attorney with strong communication skills. You demonstrate a sound commercial awareness combined with a constructive & diplomatic approach. To be successful in this role we believe you need to have:

·  Qualified (European) patent attorney and Master's degree in food science, biotechnology, (organic) chemistry or another relevant technical field;
·  Fluent in English (is a must) and able to communicate with different stakeholders at different levels in the organization;
·  Able to work in a dynamic international environment as part of a team and independently;
·  Flexible to travel depending on the occasions.
