About The Job The NCRU Manager will work within the ‘NCRU and Explorative Studies team’ of Danone Global R&I Center, reporting to the Senior NCRU Manager. The NCRU Manager plays a significant role in the operational set up, planning and conduct of clinical studies within our in-house clinical research unit. The clinical studies conducted at the NCRU are related to food and nutrition and involve healthy volunteers and patients. Interaction with study participants is part of your job.
In this role you will be responsible for establishing a smooth and efficient collaboration with the Clinical Research team (e.g. Clinical Study Manager, Clinical Study Researcher, Data Manager, Medical Monitor) and other internal and external stakeholders.
At the NCRU, continuous improvement and innovation is key. The NCRU Manager actively contributes to innovation and digitalization in clinical study operations.
Your key responsibilities are:
· Operational set-up of clinical studies from a site perspective
· Development of study documents and procedures
· Planning and organization
· Training of study staff
· Coordinate the conduct of clinical studies
· Recruitment, screening, and study visits
· Ensure the clinical studies are conducted within budget, timelines, and quality KPIs
· First point of contact for (medical) NCRU study team
· Accurate clinical study administration
· Basic lab work may be part of your tasks for some clinical studies.
· Maintenance of the NCRU quality system
· Drive quality up to our internal standards and in line with ICH-GCP
· Building bridges between science and operational practice: Advocate for operational feasibility and participant centricity in the development of clinical studies
· Driving innovation and digitalization in clinical study operations
· Build and maintain internal and external network of stakeholders

We are looking for an NCRU Manager with:
· A Bachelor and/or Masters in Life Science or related scientific discipline
· Relevant experience (3+ years) in clinical study operations (experience in a clinical unit setting is an advantage)
· Strong project management skills
· Proficient writing and communication skills in Dutch and English
· Excellent social skills
· Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and ICH-GCP guidelines
· Experience with digital applications or tools in clinical research is an advantage, as is experience with clinical research in exercise and physical activity.
