About the Internship

Our Cycles and Procurement Plastics Circular Economy team is looking for a Global Purchasing – CE Intern! We are 3 members working actively on the sustainable packaging strategy and we want an intern to support us in our strategy and help to become 100% circular!

Your work will be divided in two big parts:

·  Find the right suppliers in the market who provide innovative alternatives for problematic single use plastic packaging :
·  Perform analyses to identify and assess sourcing opportunities and sustainability benefits and collaborate with R&D and marketing teams to support implementation of projects;
·  Consolidate and publish a toolkit on circular economy with solutions to achieve our sustainable packaging strategy :
·  Gather best practices internal and external to Danone global and cross divisions, comparative analysis of feasibility and impact of solutions, lead the creation and publishing with external agency, support dissemination of report within the organization.

About You

We are looking for a Master student in a Business, Purchasing, Procurement or Plastics Packaging field with an interest in CSR and Cycle Economy. You have strong communication and analytical skills in Excel . You are an open and enthusiastic person and you are not afraid to proactively reach out to people when necessary. Also, you are an organized and detail-oriented person and able to work in autonomy . You are defined as an entrepreneur mindset and you have also project management skills.

·  Also you are eager to learn and team player;
·  You have a fluent English (verbal and written)
·  It's also good to have negotiation skills and have a good level of Microsoft Office

There are also some hard requirements that you should meet:

·  You are enrolled as a student for the whole period of the internship, (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
·  You are available to start in September 2018 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
·  You are willing to travel or relocate to Schiphol, NL.
