Purpose of the Job:

Manage the daily fleet maintenance operations in Degla Branch , and ensure that DANONE trucks are well maintained throughout their planned life within the approved cost parameters with respect to DANONE safety and quality standards. The job will be on a night shift basis.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Manage & develop the Fleet Maintenance team on their daily operations.

2. Managing SP & Maintenance Suppliers for the mentioned DC's.

3. Ensure that DANONE Safety Standards are implemented in fleet maintenance workshop.

4. Apply & Manage the 5S in fleet workshop.

5. Monitor the daily maintenance operations for all the vehicles located in the designated region, and ensure its efficiency as per the daily maintenance plan.

6. Manage maintenance software that all requests are fulfilled.

7. Ensure that all the trucks are applying & complying with the Quality Set of KPI's

8. Accountable on the preventive & corrective maintenance cost for all the vehicles.

9. Accountable for trucks daily operational status & condition in the market

10. Responsible for SQCDMN KPIs in the designated region

11. Report the operations KPIs as required

Communication & Working Relationships:

Internal Relations: Reports to the Assistant Fleet Manager, supervises Fleet technicians and Supervisors, works with Transportation team, Sales and procurment teams

External Relations: Spare parts & Maintenance Suppliers

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities “Competencies”:

- 5S methodology

- AIB

- Trucks mechanicals

- Safety

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor degree in Mechanical Power/Automotive engineering
·  0 to 2 Years of experience in a similar position.
