Financial Analyst, Material Costs

Danone North America is looking for a Financial Analyst, Material Costs in White Plains.

The Finance Analyst Material Costs serves as the backbone in the Procurement Finance team (team of 6) and being the business partner to Operations and Finance Global Team. In this role, you will provide support in the areas of budgeting, monthly forecasts, productivity management and master data support as well as any ad hoc projects.

Main responsibilities:

·  Supporting annual budget of ~$2,000M+
·  Calculate, track and control Raw & Pack productivity projects
·  Assist in preparing budget and monthly forecasts across all categories
·  Preparing variance analysis and other ad hoc analysis
·  Building relationships with key stakeholders and Business Partners outside of the finance team
·  Financial support on ad-hoc projects

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting
·  Advanced Excel and Access skills
·  SAP knowledge and experience with Essbase / Hyperion / SAP
·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·  Strong organizer who can handle constant interruption while keeping eyes on target
·  Ability to quickly summarize data and capture quickly changing assumptions
·  Experience in Food manufacturing environment a plus
·  Eager to learn and develop
·  Ability to adapt to change, deal with tight deadlines and challenge status quo
